Review of Sandcastles and Rainbows
Do you like a book that questions the status quo? Christopher’s book is fitting for you. It presents a world controlled by a central authority, with the citizens required to obey the directives of the Corporation. As the characters move from one state to another, they encounter similar authorities. Then, it presents the reader with heroes determined to change the status quo.
Sandcastles and Rainbows by Christopher D. Myers introduces Falin, a celestial odyssey from the Ethereal Universe where beings communicate intimately and telepathically, allowing the other being to experience everything altogether. The level of intelligence is high. They utilize their mental capacity to shape the universe. It also introduces the reader to another celestial odyssey from the Ethereal universe, Xin. Xin and Falin are in love with each other. Their love will be significant in developing the plot of the book.
Falin, Xin, Thron, Charon, and the others proposed a game to inhabit the bodies of different creatures, deactivate their celestial powers, and depend on the ability of the creature to solve a mysterious puzzle, uncover the truth about them, reclaim their memories, and return to the initial planet, Zenla. To start the game, they divided themselves into different planets in the vast universe to begin their mission. At this point, the reader will ponder these questions: Will they succeed in their mission? Will they solve the puzzle? Will they uncover their truth? Will they die in the process? Readers will find answers in the book.
The writing is descriptive, capturing every detail of action in the book. The connections and matches between the characters are electrifying. The author made it look like a predestined reality. I like the storyline of the book; it is breathtaking. The writing style is a positive aspect of the book. I cannot identify a negative aspect. The descriptive nature of the book is overwhelming but stimulating. I do not dislike the book, as I enjoyed every part.
Another thing that contributed to my enjoyment of the book is the professional editing. The book is error-free. I would rate the book 5 out of 5 stars because of its storyline and excellent writing style. The other reasons for my rating are the exceptional tone and the descriptive nature of the book. I recommend it to lovers of adventurous books. If you believe in justice, you will also enjoy the book.
