I usually find dystopian books to be much of a muchness, but your review intrigued me! I'm interested to see what kind of unique take the author has on this genre :)

I'm not much of a dystopian lover, but occasionally I get the urge to read something like this. Unfortunately, the bad formatting would drive me crazy and most likely cause me to lose interest rather quickly. Great review.

Thanks for your review! I think that the issue concerning food and people may be one that we will soon face. I'm curious to see how the authors handles the two sides of the conflict.

A lot of the post-apocalypse books tend to involve zombie outbreaks, so knowing that this one is based on pesticides is refreshing. It also gives a sense of realism because a lot of today's pesticides are endangering the insects that help with plant growth and production. I'm interested to see where this goes, thanks for the review.

I thoroughly enjoyed your review! I like that this story incorporates some aspects of reality. In fact it made me think of Thomas Malthus' essay. I see myself reading this one.

From the official review of OBC,I am of the opinion that this book is a complex one.Described as 'Philosophical fiction','dystopian'and'post apocalyptic'.The title of the book matches quite well with the content that sees Mr David S.Sparks, the main character as a confused man. Thanks for the review though.Congrats to the author on BOTD.

This definitely seems like a unique story. The plot is very intriguing. I agree - reading the sample was "mind-bending" for me. It's good to know that it gets better as the story progresses.

I enjoy reading books that make me think, although this one also seems to make readers reflect on what we are doing at the moment, cause it will affect us in/directly in our lives in the near future. However, I'd like to go in the journey to find the truth about Mr. Sparks with with him, but I'm a little afraid of getting lost in the format. Anyways, thanks for this fascinating review!

There seems to be a lot of post apocalyptic stories nowadays. This book sounds intriguing especially since readers will gradually learn about the world as the main characters find out more. Your review makes it very interesting. Thanks for this review.

I’m not a huge fan of sci-fi novels, but I think the focus on current topics like technology and genetics is fascinating. However, I’m worried the writing may be a bit over my head; I hate to be confused when reading.

As post-apocalyptic goes, the more philosophical the better. It sounds from your review, that this is the book to read for someone constantly thinking on a more futuristic brain wave. I would be slightly deterred by the confusing issues in the writing style and plot, however, I doubt it would stop me from continuing a story with so much mystery and intrigue. Thank you for an amazing review and I can't wait to read this book.

This sounds like an interesting book. The title has made me intrigued and I didn't find any clues in your review--which is good! I'm not sure what I think about apocalyptic books.

I’m really excited to check this one out, I love dystopian lit. Thanks for the great review, I love having an idea of who characters are before delving in.
