I recently watched the teen movie Firebreather. The plot for this book seems to go somewhere along those lines. For a plot and set of concepts that seem to find themselves into most teen movies and books, they never seem to lose appeal, either with teens, or with adults. Isn't that surprising?
This was a great review, by the way! Im definitely piqued enough to read the book. As a side note, your Dr. Suess quote is quite a thought-provoker.

This book is awesome! It has a very interesting story.

Hehe, I work as an editor and my favorite phrase to authors is “cut it down!”
