Paiges-reads wrote: 02 Jul 2018, 11:58 I love love love books about dragons, books where people are friends with dragons, books where people are dragons?? Amazing, every one. Then add other magic and multiple planes of existence? This sounds like my perfect cup of tea. I've been fascinated with dragons from a young age and would only want to read books with dragons in them when I started out. My reading taste has expanded since then, but I still love a good dragon book and they hold a special place in my heart. Can't wait to read this one! Thanks for the review!
Oh, I hope you get the time! It's such a fast read and I would love to hear your opinion!
I'll be sure to let you know when I get to them!

I must confess there are times I wouldn't mind being a dragon  I enjoyed your review and I imagine this will be a popular series especially for YA.

Oh how cool! Did your son read it himself or did you read it aloud? How old is he that he was at this reading level but still enjoys bedtime stories? (Not judging! Just curious :P )

Such an outstanding review. I love fantasy books and would love to read this one. Laura is the average youth it seems, discovering herself and unsure at times. I enjoyed the fact that there is detail like the magical staff disguised as a necklace and the orb that allows her to travel. I also like the magical part of it where the author does lilac skies and inverts the color of the sea and grass, like they decided to exchange outfits.I also love that it contains a kingdom with her and her friends helping the prince. This just spiced it up. I also think it contains an adventure worth looking forward to with her purpose being to one day save the world. I would love to read this and as a young woman i would say it meets all the criteria. :techie-studyingbrown:

Book two of the Dragon Born series, Child of fire by Ela Lourenco, Reading about teenage Lara is interesting and also exciting to know about that she was a dragon - the last dragon. The planet of Azmantium occupies another universe. Beautiful and gracefully flowed words edited in this book. Thanks to the author.

In the review of Child of Fire by Ella Lourenco Lara is decovering her power. She and her friend find out that unity together can assist in accomplishing a common goal. I love a good fantasy, it helps one realize we have a sense of excitement within us.
