I'm reading this book now, and the sex scenes are pure porn. The thing worth noting about this part of the book, whether you're coming for the sex scenes, or turned off by them, they are written from a man's perspective. The sex is pure physical/mechanical. If there's anything emotional in any of the scenes, I haven't come across it yet. There is one brief scene when one of the female characters asks Jennifer about her "encounter" with a different character, and Jennifer describes it from a strictly procedural standpoint, describing the act itself, what she did and what was done to her rather than how "magical" it was or how she felt through the experience.

from the summary I guess it's a wonderful book hoping the summary is not misleading.

I like the premise of the book especially the time travelling part. I'm just wary of the "over the top" sexual scenes, that you mentioned though. Anyway I can always skip that part. Thanks for the heads up and your review!

I agree with the offical review. I found the frequent this is what we did in the bedroom scenes boring. Needed more than what they did, how did they feel?

I read this book because the summary seemed interesting. So I was disappointed that only the beginning and end were science fiction, the rest romance.

This book was labeled science fiction but the only sci fi I found was the beginning and the end.
I completely agree that there was too much time spent on Jennifer exploring her sexuality.
This was the first book I reviewed and I thought it was kinda boring until the twist near the end.

Your review is detailed, which is really something to admire as it doesn't sugarcoat or leave anything out.

I love books about star-crossed lovers, and going back in time to save a partner is just as good. I will love to read this book. Thanks for the review.
