Age of Swords by Michael Sullivan

Post by Nanette_hensley »

Clever and suspenseful, Age of Swords continues the tale of Age of Myths and invests us even more solidly in the life of Persephone, but especially deepens our empathy and awe towards the other pillars of this imagined society: Brin, Roan, Moya, and Suri who must battle, not only real demons, but internal struggles, loss, and the devastating choices they must make on their road to adulthood. With epic scenes, reminiscent of The Lord of the Rings, it offers moments of both humor and tragedy in the midst of suspense-filled scenes. Truly a joy to read. Waiting eagerly for Age of War!
