Super Powereds

Post by Wordforawhile »

I found this series on an app called Hoopla (which links to your library card and allows you to borrow books, audio books, tv series, movies, etc. that your library has in stock) and loved it. The series is 4 books long, tracking a group of 5 students as they go through their college life. The students are in a special program for people with super powers to become heroes leading to a lot of excitement in the series.

The basic premise is the world has 3 types of people: Normal humans, Supers, and Powereds. Powereds are people with super powers who can't control the abilities and are looked down on as 3rd class citizens. The main characters are powereds who went through a special experiment that makes them supers and they are then enrolled in the HCP (Hero Certification Program) to make sure the procedure is permanent and doesn't have any side effects. Don't worry these aren't spoilers, this is what you are told right off the back and it definitely goes uphill from there

Has anyone else read this series? If not do it immediately!
