Thanks bookowlie! I always appreciate your insights. I guess sometimes it's a hit and sometimes it's a miss.

I love your comment: Chatterbox is a grumpy cat, as some cats are.

I just reviewed an audiobook where I also had trouble nailing down the target audience. I think that makes it really hard to review a book when you have no idea who is supposed to be reading it. Good job making the best out of this confusing book.

I think that's definitely a difficulty. Authors really need to know who their target audience is and write accordingly. Sometimes, it seem as if that is more of an after thought. Thanks for commenting!

Chatterbox lets you enter into the mind of a cat who does just what cats do and listens to things and sees things that like other cats, can be very interesting.
I too myself have wondered what all our pets and animals see and hear. I have often thought it to be a very interesting concept. This review helps me to decide whether I would enjoy reading this book also. Thank you for a good review.

It seems this story had good elements (a talking cat and bee robots) to sparkle, but they weren't used wisely to exploit their best. Too bad it turned out to be a flat story with zero characters to relate to. Thanks for your honest review, though!

Thanks for stopping by. I do wish the author had made better use of these things.
