Hey thanks for the review i have always liked stories about protagonists being raised by others than their species and gaining special abilities and unique perspectives on life. I think i might enjoy reading this for fun especially if the lore is as thought out as you mentioned.

I am curious if this books gives enough setup in the first book to be a part of a more epic series or is the story encapsulated solely within one book?

When i was a kid, books about dragons and being able to have one as your best friend/partner was just the coolest idea and I love those books. I be this one is fun too! Who doesn't want to be raised by dragons?

A young woman gives birth, and a legend is born! I love dragon books, but not fond of battle scenes. Too bad that a main portion of the book consists of such battles. It is great that all the main dragons have distinct personalities and histories. I am glad you enjoyed the book despite that. Thank you for the review!

Wow. This book is not for me. I enjoy fantasy, but this is just too much blablabla all at once. Congratulations on Book of the Day, though!

It always seems that for any baby with a peculiar destiny, born during the war must be brought up in hiding to prevent its destruction. I am convinced from the review that this book is a good one.

Sounds very intriguing. Thanks for a very detailed and insightful review. Readers of the sci-fi should enjoy this book. However it is not my usual genre so I will pass.

 :shifty: I find this being very interesting. But a good children's book for sure. Getting raised by dragons you would think wold be frightening and scary but you can't forget they got your back. No this seems like a great book very eye catching ... :lol2:

An epic adventure with dragons and a legend of a child being born to save them all sounds like the type of book I enjoy. The battles between the dragons seem to be a big part of the storyline so I'm definitely adding this to my TBR list. Congrats on being BOTD

Thanks for the details about the lengthy battle scenes. I enjoy well-written action here and there, but I also want to see major character development and backstories when I'm reading. Good to know that the author eventually covers all these bases. Look forward to reading more, especially since there are real legends and myths emulated in this particular tale.

The idea sure sounds interesting, but hardly overly original. Another retelling of Rudyard Kipling's Mowgli in new settings. Instead jungles and wolfs, author applied modern fashion for dragons and fantasy. But sure, made in movie pictures will be awesome.

I agree with your review but i feel 4 stars is too much. The story is great and compelling but the writing leaves something to be desired. There is a flow problem that makes it hard to read in the begining jumping into new narrative without transition. Great review though.

I am into stories involving dragons, so I'll be reading this book. I won't mind the slow pace while the author is describing the war. Thanks to your detailed review.
