The saying "you can't judge a book by its cover" is so true! This is a book I probably wouldn't have chose to read but the review on this book has me hooked! I definitely want to read this!
Thank you!

It’s helpful to know about this young adult novel, as it seems there are often requests for supernatural YA. You did a good job of pointing out the book’s weaknesses.

Sounds like an interesting plot. You didn't mention, but it seems like it would be a major adjustment to being able to see people at their times of death. I also imagine it would sometimes feel like a curse. Granted, he'd have to purposefully touch a grave, but seeing someone else's death can't be pleasant, regardless.

Well I don't want to give too much away, but it turns into something with a purpose. It's well done all the way around. You'll have too read it to see what I mean.

Absolutely great review and the book seems to be one I would definitely pick up. Paranormal action novels - even if YA in nature - are some of my favorites. And ghosts, and traveling back in time - these are all ingredients of a tasty book.

Yep, this one definitely sounds like it would be right up your alley! I hope you do enjoy (if you are able to fit it into your long list!)

Long list or not, I will give this book a quick read if ever it comes up free (which happened with Island Games). I wonder whether Derek will be able to keep any of the people from dying (their first deaths, at least).

Thanks for the enlivening review, Kandscreely!

Thank you for commenting. This one definitely has a wider audience than Island Games. Not quite as simplistic. I hope you do get the chance.
