Is there always something unique with those children who start life in school by being bullied?

It seems that the bullies underrate them, thinking that they are mere pushovers. But in most cases, they pull the biggest and most spectacular shows, making everyone shocked even to speak.

It is evident that everyone had written Leaf off and he just turned the tables on the opponent.

Great review. This sounds like a boom that is a must read for fans of dark fantasy with its epic action, magic, and a coming of age story of an orphan. It sounds as though the author has taken a lot of inspiration from George R R Martin, with the violence and alluded-to sexual assaults. One for mature fantasy fans!

I agree with your rating because even when the story is well told it can be hindered by poor editing. I love the cover and the beautiful artwork leads me to want to read this book. I also like that the story is part of a series so that more characters can be developed. I like that the main character is not someone who is strong or brave like the stereotypical hero, but someone who is orphaned and poor. This makes me connect more with the story especially about the part of finding yourself.
