You are right! The book doesn't look fast-paced from the book cover.

Nice review. It sounds like the only work that the author needs to do is re-work the cover. Such a noticeable flaw will most certainly drive many potential buyers away before they even give the novel a chance.

This book sounds like something I would enjoy reading. I will have to check it out. I currently do not watch the show The Gifted but it too seems interesting. Thanks for the great review.

Based on the review this is something that I would enjoy reading. I love reading the sci-fi/fantasy genre. I also like how the author incorporated aliens with vampires, werewolves and mages/witches. I think the cover turns readers away from reading the book; It looks unprofessionally designed. I think that I will check out this story.

Vampires and werewolves are very trendy lately. Many people read about them or watch them on movies. However, I'm a little bit tired of them by now. The inclusion of aliens in the picture is a good idea, but I'll leave this book for some other time.

I love urban fantasy so I'm really excited to read this book. It sounds like it has a bit of YA in it too so that's great. I love the fact that stereotypes are tackled, not perpetuated in this book and I'm sure it will be a fun read.

Glad you enjoyed it so much! I do not read paranormal novels, so I will pass on this one. A well-written work of fiction with a clear writing style and well-fleshed out characters. Also, it is well edited! Fans of urban fantasies and sci-fi novels will enjoy it! Thank you for the detailed review!

This fantasy book incorporates zots, vampires, werewolves. The "tyrst" sounds like an interesting twist for Kurt, who lost his power. Unfortunately, I don't read fantasy books, so this one is not for me.

I have to agree with the reviewer, upon seeing the sample cover of this book I automatically assumed it was going to be a cheesy book. I must remember NOT to judge a book by its cover. With that being said, Invasion really surprised me.

So the characters lost some of their old powers but gained new ones from the others. I wonder if these new powers will either work for them or against them?

Great review!

Aliens, vampires, werewolves, and zots all come together in this sci-fi/fantasy novel completely full of adventure and action.

This was a great review of the book. It sounds like an interesting novel. A dark urban fantasy sounds intriguing.
