It might be interesting to explore the implications of lust as a deadly sin in a Dystopian world. However, I'm just not sure about the mature content. I'm not religious, nor a prude, but I'm just not interested in that kind of content in books. I also wish that these books could be read as stand alone, although I know it's not always possible in this genre. Thanks for your insight!

I don't normally read romance but have some interest in dystopian fiction, so a book that could introduce me to something I don't normally read sounds intriguing. You don't mention whether Book 2 works as a standalone but it sounds as if there is a lot of linkage with Book 1.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".

I find the mixture of politics and romance in a book quite interesting, in a way to kill monotony.

The two themes that are dealt with extensively in this novel are love and lust.
This is one reason why this book "Temptation Trials Part II" is a good read to a number of people. Thanks for the review.

Not really my sort of novel and, as Amazon says this is not a stand alone novel and book 1 must be read first, I do not think I will be reading it. I am pleased you enjoyed it. The theme sounds unique.

Spoiler Free!
The story picks up where the first book ended. This world is still under the control of a man that has power over the media, entertainment, etc. This had a lot of dialogue, but sometimes I felt it unnatural or even unnecessary. It even felt slow at some points. Once the action picks up, the book becomes more interesting and even kept me glued to the book. I am pleased to say that any question you had in the first book will be answered in this one. You HAVE to read the first book, if you don't you will be completely lost.
