Amazing fantasy book that I found myself rating 4 out of 4 stars. I am a big fan of the fantasy genre and this book did not disappoint. I loved the onlinebookclub.org review and found it highly inciteful.

Sweet review, i like that the book carries a lot of fantasy but still made the reviewer relate it to some reality.

Great review but I'm just not sure this is my style. SciFi is hit or miss and I just don't know how I feel about a talking fish companion.

This sounds absolutely hilarious! I guess I'm not surprised because it's Jim Hardison, he can always be counted on to be funny and completely ridiculous (in the good way) ;)

Fish Wielder reminded me a lot about Lord of the Rings set in Narnia. I'm not a fan of Lord of the Rings but I love Narnia. I can't decide whether I liked it or not.

If the review is anything to go by, this book will be an awesome read for me. I love fantasy / adventure and am a big fan of comedy. So if they are all together in one book, this sounds like the perfect read! The cover immediately reminds me of He-man and the Masters of the Universe which is probably where this fascination with fantasy adventure started. It would be wonderful if this is an adult version of the series. I can't wait to meet Thoral and Brad. Thank you for a fanstatic review.

After reading the sample and your review, Thoral reminds me a bit of Wulfgar from the Drizzt books. Does anyone else see that?

I do love that this book seems to be in a category of its own and has humor and fantasy. It seems over the top but interesting! Congrats on book of the day! Great review!

It needs it's own category? No way! You obviously haven't read any Discworld books or the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Mixing ridiculousness and farce with fantasy is a long, though niche, tradition.

The sample I read of this book was really fun. I'm a huge fan of Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams, so the ridiculousness of this book and its humor are great. I'm definitely intrigued.

Great review! I really enjoyed it. This sounds like good book. Glad you enjoyed it. I'll have to pass on it though, I'm not a huge fan of this genre.

Considering how obsessed recently everyone became with comics, this book written in somewhat similar style have every chance to be popular.

Fun and farcical! This story is full of witty twists and turns and turns of phrase that keep the reader reading. Congratulations on Book of the Day!
