The story seems like it has many characters, do they really have an important part in the story? The character of Willow is the one brings excitement story because of the "Unitime".

This is a wonderful review! I don't like a lot of paranormal and fantasy, but I can get into a good dystopian novel, and this one sounds like a winner. Thanks for the great review. I'll be checking this one out.

A Book Without Dragons by Olivia Berrier
Definetaly what it hits me the most is the Title, trying hard to relate the story to this headline is quite challenging. I think it is one of the things reading the book or the reviews that caught my attention. Maybe it would be interesting to know how the author relates to that issue, I would love to understand.
Besides that disputing about technology, if we can or not live without it always captivating for lots of people, in my personal thinking this world need some rest regarding to that.

What would our world look like without technology? This is especially interesting to me as it is a topic my students and I have been discussing. I do not think I will mind the playing with tenses since between your review and the summary I've been warned about it.

From the review, Olivia Berrier's A Book Without Dragons sounds quite interesting. The fact that no dragon character is depicted in this type of narrative makes it even more attractive, for me. The review is nicely written.

Does not seem like my kind of novel, but would be great for anyone interested in a futuristic time where everything runs perfectly, until one day it does not! I do like how the author uses tenses to give us different aspects between the characters.

I think it's quite a feat to tackle a book and have opposing tenses in it, and it sounds like it was pulled off well. I totally dig the concept of Unitime, it's a lot like how our phones change with the daylight savings, but on the universal level. The title is completely irrelevant to the book, which was clearly done with intention, this is a great review.

The story is exciting but it is telling us the future of the technology. Initially the story somehow look scary.

The book's title caught my attention and your review reinforced the need to read the book. I can't imagine a world without technology. A peek in a future that could possibly be is a fantasy to immerse my mind into...

I completely missed the whole tongue-in-cheek humor aspect; all the more reason for me to read it! I LOVE off-kilter humor, :-)
