Great review and thank you for sharing. This is not what I expected based on the title of the book but it does sound interesting. I have always wondered what life would be like if technology just quit working. This sounds like it will be interesting.

This genre is so overwhelmed, but I like that you called this one weird and well told! I look forward to sampling it.

Sounds like the human race is finally getting to be enlightened. Though I am curious what refined solar power actually means so I may have to read this to find out. Thanks for the great review.

Going from each character's point of view and have each in a different different tenses would have me putting the book down at the beginning. Great review!

This book sounds very interesting, a new twist on the old failing-technology science fiction premise. The tense switches sound bizarre but I think that won't bother me. Thank you for the thorough and thoughtful review.

This seems like an interesting, emotionally heavy book! I'm a bit hesitant about the tense-switching but congrats to the author on BOTD anyways!

title of the book drew me in to it and read your review, and your review encourages me to read the book. It sounds like the kind I usually love such type of books

Wonderful plot. I'm not sure why you'd want to write in different tenses for each character. I guess I'll have to read it to find out. Thanks for a wonderful review.

I am not a consistent fan of sci-fi and fantasy because it's usually lengthy and overly detailed for me. I like that this book is less than 300 pages. I also love the idea of the various tenses for different characters and all of them coming together somehow in the end. I was wondering when an author was going to do something like this.
