I always struggle with sci-fi/fantasy books. I'm not sure why. Your review is really good, but I'm not sure I'd be able to make it through this one.

Wow, it sounds interesting because I really wonder on time travel. Somewhat true but not really convincing for me. Anyway, I like your review.

There are a lot of elements of this story that draw my attention. For instance, time traveling since it is a fascinating theory. Besides, the fact that the main character is a smarty pants and fires back at weird times sounds very engaging. This one I'll include it in my list immediately. Thanks for this awesome review!

A book that takes the reader back to a world where time travel is possible, a power hungry group, and a boy that can save the world. What an intriguing premise! Entertaining characters, good writing, and good plot certainly make for a great book. I love Dystopian fiction, so will give it a try. Thank you for the review!

Sorry I find sci-fi novels really challenging and complicated to read, so this book isn't for me I'm afraid.

Kristen Keenon Fisher's The Quantum Cartographer is a warm and exciting adventure tale set in a dystopian future, where the individuality of womankind is threatened by an ominous totalitarian regime that stops at nothing to get its own way. Humanity is in crisis, and one's nearest and dearest are threatened, meaning that the lives of even some of the most vulnerable, namely the children, are at stake. In a bid to rescue their offspring from such dire peril, mothers are forced to subject them to even greater peril to escape. This is a nail-biting example of science fiction at its very best - well written and taut with tension: a real winner!

This? This is a debut novel? Wow! Even if I just reading this review. I was lured in by the vivid description of the book written here. I have known what cartographer and what works involved but not in depth really. But this one, I must have my hand on this book. Soon! Thank you for the review.

I usually don't read this genre, but this is such a tempting review that I might make an exception. You did a good job of itemising the things you liked and the ones you did not. Well done!

Wow, this book sounds amazing! I like how you threw the Sarah Connor reference in there, a must really for all women with time traveling kids. After reading this and the sample, I’m all over this book.

The 2 chapter preview of The Quantum Cartographer: Book of Cruxes just wasn't enough. Reminiscent of Terminator/Sarah Connor, but without the creepy robots. I'm not going to lie, I fully expected a ball of fire to fall from the sky at the end of chapter two.
