I love it when authors write novels that anyone, no matter the age, wants to read it. I haven't read many Xmas reads, but this one surely sounds like an enjoyable one. Excellent review!

Thanks Cee-Jay. This is so much more than a Christmas book! It's so good.

I'm so glad you've gotten to continue reviewing this series! I think it's helpful to get the perspective of a reviewer that has read previous books in the series. Great review, as always!

I see we're still matching on with the Magi Charter, I'm afraid I still haven't started book 2, but I will still get to book 5. Good to know the author hasn't lost the touch.

I remember adding one of the earlier books in the series to my want to read list months ago, after reading your review of that one. Thanks for reminding me of this series. As the holidays get closer, I will want to add them into my reading queue.

Thanks spirit wandering. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed this series. It moves way beyond a Santa story.

I have read several reviews of this series, and I may have to start reading these books myself. Being a child at heart, I love fantasy stories and books about the magic of Christmas.

Kanscreeley, I am going to start calling you the Elf Expert! You did a wonderful job in highlighting all the little things that made this book (and the others in the series) special. I initially thought this book was more suitable for teens, but you made the book sound interesting for all ages. Although I don't normally like fantasy books, I love books with Christmas and North Pole themes. I am off to read the sample for the first book in the series. Thanks for a well written, thorough review.

Thanks Mindi. I have very much enjoy getting to know these characters, and I plan to re-read them all again soon!

Bookowlie- I'd say the first couple of books do tend to be a little bit more silly than the rest. After that, they really start getting more grown-up if you will.

I agree with you, kandscreeley. These books will make lovely christmas gifts. Just like you, I really enjoyed them. I have read the first three of the series and look forward to reading the rest.
