Kanscreeley, I am going to start calling you the Elf Expert! You did a wonderful job in highlighting all the little things that made this book (and the others in the series) special. I initially thought this book was more suitable for teens, but you made the book sound interesting for all ages. Although I don't normally like fantasy books, I love books with Christmas and North Pole themes. I am off to read the sample for the first book in the series. Bookowlie- I'd say the first couple of books do tend to be a little bit more silly than the rest. After that, they really start getting more grown-up if you will.
