Thanks for the review! You're right about unanswered questions, so it's a must to read the other books as well. I already read it before your review - and yes, I agree to what you've said. If anyone love fantasy adventure story, I recommend this one.

The Bellringer by William Timothy Murray

I thought I wouldn't like this book but I actually quite like it! It sets a great tone and how the character answer each other they have great line ups and fit their portraying roles. I loved the whole plot and setting of the story by just a few parragraps and just by the sample pages of the book! Thank you!

The story reminds me of this song. ⬇️

"Temple Of The King"

One day in the year of the fox
Came a time remembered well
When the strong young man of the rising sun
Heard the tolling of the great black bell

One day in the year of the fox
When the bell began to ring
Meant the time had cometh
For one to go
To the temple of the king

There in the middle of the circle he stands
Searching, seeking
With just one touch of his trembling hand
The answer will be found

Daylight waits while the old man sings
Heaven help me
And then like the rush of a thousand wings
It shines upon the one
And the day had just begun

One day in the year of the fox
Came a time remembered well
When the strong young man of the rising sun
Heard the tolling of the great black bell

One day in the year of the fox
When the bell began to sing
It meant the time had cometh
For one to go
To the temple of the king

There in the middle of the people
He stands
Seeing, feeling
With just a wave of a strong right hand
He's gone
To the temple of the king

Far from the circle at the edge of the world
He's hoping, wondering
Thinking back from the stories he's heard
Of what he's going to see

There in middle of the circle it lies
Heaven help me
Then all could see by the shine in his eyes
The answer had been found

Back with the people in the circle
He stands
Giving, feeling
With just one touch of a strong right hand
They know
Of the temple and the king

Thanks for the astounding review. I'll surely read this book sooner.

I wasn't all that keen on this book, but you've turned me around on the idea, especially regarding the strong female character and the similarities to Lord of the Rings. Great review

William Timothy Murray's The Bellringer sounds impressive. The themes of love, despair and hope which are woven into
Robby Ribbon's story make the book appealing to me. Great review, ellieonline03!

It's nice to see how the author balances all the characters. It seems worth reading. Often books written in the first person point of view end up making the MC sound whiny.

The fact that you clearly enjoyed this book makes me excited to check it out even though I have never read the lord of the rings or even saw any of the movies. Great job on your review!

Interesting review. Seems as if the plot, starts out in a simple manner but yet manages to captivate the reader. It also seems as if there is a lot of symbolism. While fantasy novels are not really my genre, 'Bellringer' seems as if it would be a good read

It is always a great thing when a writer doesn't focus solely on one character in their book. The "Bellringer" sounds like a thrilling adventure that would keep you on your toes. I look forward to reading it, thank you very much for the great review.

This sounds really interesting! I love a good fantasy book, and I like it even more when I see female characters that do what they can to save themselves and those around them. That's not something you see every day. I loved the Lord of the Rings, so I'm sure I'll like this. It's definitely going on my reading list!
