I think many a good story can be started with:
Not only are there marks in some of the bones that hint at an extremely sharp, sword-like weapon being used on the dinosaurs, but the potential implement is fount lodged in the skull.
Finding the implements of the "wrong" time can open all kinds of possibilities and I am always intrigued by that! :)

I am not particularly fond of fantasy and this is, funnily enough, due to the point you mentioned about the weird names given in such a genre. I find struggling to remember names makes me lose some of the plot's intensity. I also do not like books that end with a cliffhanger. I, personally, will pass on this book, but your review was very engaging.

Upon reading the sample, I thought the author had a slow start. However, once the sword was revealed my interest definitely peaked. Sounds like an exciting read.

At first I thought the story was boring. But for me the author did a great transition from a boring to quite fun and intriguing because of that sword in the skull.Fantastic story.

Vonsic says that the scientists were looking into the cause of the Dinnouser's harm. What I got so interesting is how he puts it that carnivores coexisted with human beings. It is a thought provoking book.

Might be worth reading, if I can get past the name issue.

Having no closure when I know a book is part of a series doesn't really bother me. I think the premise of this book is very interesting, and since I'm a big fan of epic fantasy, I will probably break my rule of not spending $2.99 and above for eBooks. I think this one is worth the expense. Your pros far outweigh your cons, in my opinion. Thanks so much for an honest and insightful review.

I appreciate the author for his extremely good storytelling skills. He has also built a backstory, history, and a world for his characters reminiscent of any great epic fantasy.

Nice book I like how it talks about technology connecting people despite others not liking it as such.
