It's not quite Christmas season yet, but I'm actually happy to find a Christmas book early this time. It has a lot of what I enjoy in epic fantasy, including the parallels to older lore (I don't mean to offend any Christians when I call the Bible "lore"; I'm non-Christian and I wanted to bundle dragons and elves into that category as well, so I'm sorry if I upset any Christians). I love new twists on old tales, especially ones as creative and out-there as this one sounds. I can't read it right now but I'll definitely add it to my "to read" list! Thanks for the thorough review of what I'm sure will be a new favorite for me.
The more that you read,
The more things you will know.
The more that you learn,
The more places you'll go.

I hope you enjoy the book! I love new twists on old tales as well - in books and in films.
