Reading the description on Amazon and this review seems to take a peek into an intriguing storyline. I, for one, would not turn away from graphic scenes as long as they aren't bdsm (doesn't interest me) or repetitively done somehow like real pornography can do sometimes. Beyond that, I think the suspenseful plotlines are going to be interesting.

The cover of this book really stands out, but does not match dark fantasy / erotic so that is slightly disappointing. So many including myself pick up books because the cover speaks to us. While I know this is def. a book I want to read, I wouldn't have originally thought that.

Jeez, creepy cover art (for me), massive cliffhanger and staggering amount of graphic scenes? Yes, this book quite fits the bill of those I would only hear about, not read. Thanks for the revealing review, ZenaLei7.

Nice Review! It describes the book well enough to let me know whether I want to read it or not. The book seems interesting with the werewolves, vampires and whatnot, but I'm not a huge fan or erotica, so I'll probably not read it.

I would not guess a dark and erotic fantasy from the cover! But it's right up my alley! Thanks for your review.

I really appreciate it when reviewers give a heads up to the graphic sex/language/violence. I do try and avoid reading a lot of that type. I am always disappointed when the book seems like I would enjoy it otherwise. For me, all the graphic-ness (is that even a word? No, I don't think it is.) makes the book weaker.

Great review and generally a good story. However my appeal the fantasy genre ends at vampires and werewolves but this was different and had me from the first page.

This book sounds interesting, but the abrupt ending doesn't sound good to me. I also tend to like books with character progression. Thanks for the review.

Dark fantasy novels have never been my favorite. Although this one sounds intriguing but still I'll not enjoy the profanity or sexual scenes in this book. Otherwise thanks for this great review!

Great review - thanks for the heads up on the degree of graphic content in the "The Underground: Second Edition". I cannot handle such graphic content so I will have to pass on the book! I wish Roxanne Bland well.
