I love the alternate realities and the realistic characters. A mysterious being watching two alternative realities. Can't wait to find out which world the live one is from.

I am not sure if this book would be something that I would enjoy but you did peak my interest when you mentioned that the ‘whodunnit’ was wasn’t obvious. With that, this book might have to go on my to read bookshelf.

As wonderful as you made this book sound, it is not the read for me. As much as alternate timelines intrigue me, the rest of this story just seems to make no sense whatsoever. I am glad that you enjoyed, but I books that get right into it instead of skimping and waiting until halfway through. Either way, thanks for the review!

Sounds like a pretty engaging tale and I'm so glad to hear that the characters are realistic and flawed. I love it when characters start to blend with the humans they're supposed to be with flaws and issues. Sounds like a good read.

From a sampling, this was an interesting theme concept of 2 realities that diverge only to potentially align back together. Not many suspense/science fiction novels have that sort of plot. Well Done.

I've always been a fan of alternate universes, so that's an automatic plus for me. I also like that there are a bunch of twists and the characters are so interesting. I'm just not sure about the slow start, as I tend to enjoy more right off the bat. Great review.

I like sci-fi, but this sounds like a book I would find mildly frustrating. Although I am not sure what it means that one is the "good" city. Does that mean its travail is destined to succeed? Is it a better place to live? What is an old one? It sounds rather convoluted. I am sure that many will appreciate the book, even if it does not draw me in.

Kudos to this author for writing a gripping tale of crime, romance, betrayal, war, family ties and a yearning for freedom. The idea of alternate realities is attractive to many readers and I'm looking forward to checking out this book.

I love when the characters in a story are well constructed and relatable—we all have our flaws and weaknesses as well as our strengths. I’m not sure yet if I’ll pick this one up, but I’m intrigued.

Crime, romance, betrayal, and suspense are all ingredients I would enjoy in a plot. I look forward to trying this story. It may have a slow start but I think once the building of the story is done and the suspense starts I won't be able to put it down.

You wrote a great review of Herai. You mentioned that the book has realistic characters, plot twists, and mysteries. The book includes crime, romance, betrayal, war, family ties, and a quest for freedom, all of which makes a great story. I too was not captivated by the beginning of the book and was a bit confused. However, after reading your review, I am encouraged that it gets better and is worth reading.

I am very interested in reading this book. I also like the fact that theis is Aaron Key's first published book. It makes me even more interested to read this novel and see what type of an author he or his style is.
