This sounds a fantastic story. A well written review. It gives a reader urge to read everything excluding nothing.

The cover of the book is so pretty. I think I would have the same impression if I read the book, except for the French grammatical mistakes, because I know little about the language. I can't stand when images, typography and style do not accompany the argument itself, and it's a pity that a good with such a good plot has these mistakes.
However, I really liked your description of the book, so much that I am going to add it to my to-read shelf. It reminds a bit of "The Age of Adaline" in the sense that the main characters live through different periods of time and that gives them superior knowledge and intelligence.

I may be biased but I like stories with a strong female lead. I enjoyed reading your review Scerakor. The unnecessary illustrations, erroneous french and temporary loss of purpose sounds rather off putting. I may give the book a chance but I'm yet to make up my mind.

Interesting characters in that book. It makes a good reading to even get entertained by characters like captain Jennifer, but definitely the nudity part is something to worry about.

Thank you. I was surprised by your initial paragraphs's summary but I had only read the first two chapters before viewing this. However, it did not defer me from thinking this is a book I would very much like to read.
A well-written and well-analyzed review.

Though am not a fun of of science fiction the review tells in short description that the is interesting and has some fantasy in it.Instead of Jenifer moving to the 27th century she goes to the 21st century that she wants to hide her Identity and learn.I think its also an adventuree she goes through while learning things in the 21st century.I like the review

It is quite interesting how you enjoyed the said book despite getting distracted with its gramatically incorrect French phrases. The author seems a good science researcher but not a really well-versed linguist translator.

I'm with you on this one. I don't think I don't think I would have made it past the first chapter.
