The story sounds great. Only the violent aspect scares me a bit. Great review!

The review is all you need to understand what the book is about. Quite interesting. Story of a young boy struggling to make it even in a poor situation.

I wanted to read this but I had trouble with the format. Looks like I missed out on something great! I loved both Harry Potter and Game of Thrones, and it makes me really excited to see how elements of these two masterpieces have been integrated into this book.

I have read this book, and I can agree that it is a mix of Harry Potter and Game of Thrones! I also agree that he could go into more detail because I was majorly confused in some parts. But then again, maybe I just didn't comprehend it correctly. I felt myself asking "why?" a lot. Thank you for your review. It helps me see what the community thinks about books like this.

End of the Last Great kingdom appears quite imaginatively crafted and interesting. However, I hardly get drawn to books in this genre, especially, ones with graphic violence and themes of magic.

End of the Last Great Kingdom sounds like an interesting dark fantasy full of adventure, but it sounds like an adult novel in which young teens are the primary characters. Having young characters can work in an adult fantasy if other well-developed adult characters are part of the story like the Game of Thrones. Thus, I am hesitant to download this book with so many other books on my bookshelves. Thank you for the balanced review.
