While it is in that style, it doesn't reach the level of Indiana Jones. I have a soft spot for this book because it is obvious that the author made a sincere effort in writing the novel, particularly about reminding us of the situation in Tibet. Since the Kindle version is inexpensive, it is worth reading but I'm not sure I would invest in the paperback.

Very interesting review. I generally like books with a little fun and intrigue in them, so this sounds like a novel that would interest me. I also love the book cover!
