Charles W. McDonald Jr. is really an idol. I love how he created Damon and Mira. These characters are perfectly amazing. The mixture of technology and magic in this story brings the readers to a different dimension. Congratulations!

Such an awesome review, i would like to read both books of the series. On another note i would appreciate a mentor on how to write great reviews. One of my weaknesses are the use of run on sentences. Anyone is welcome to help.

Good review! The book is very deep. Thank you for explaining book 1. I now have a better understanding of book 2. I am now intrigued to read book 1 before completing book 2.

The cover is so enticing and implies that the story is so good to read. I can only imagine the illustrations and the emotional journey!
Thanks for the very informative review!

The stories about demons do not really interest me, I would have to give this one a pass.

I don't think this is quite the book for me. I'm not too big on jumps through time and space at a rate that can be described as "dizzying". That, and I like to start with the first book whenever possible.

Great review. The power struggle and the interplay of emotions is phenomenal. It appears these concepts have been stretched to the extreme and in so doing to provide the limitless boundaries of the spiritual. The description that good and evil are not the simple concepts that we know off, make me want to read the book.

Thank you for mentioning that we need a bit of a back story from the first book in the series. It was also good of you to make age recommendation.
