McDonald’s writing style includes a happy mix of description and narrative. Rarely have I found a book that includes such amazing synergy between foreknowledge and mystery. Information is doled out in a way that compels you to read more and leaves you breathless when you reach the end. McDonald keeps up a thrilling pace while he continues to develop the characters. Consequently, I understood increasingly more of each character while reading the second book in this series. I am glad to give this 4 out of 4 stars. It took me a while to understand what was going on, but this is definitely a worthy series to look into! What a story!!!”

Thanks for the great review! This story intrigues me but I’ll definitely have to read the first one first to avoid confusion.

mmmmm.... complex characters! Love it! :) Especially the whole "good vs. evil" not being just black and white.
The book also includes power struggles, manipulative relationships, pure love, lust, vengeance, and redemption.
this sounds like a good one to keep me occupied! ;)

Very good review! This series sounds interesting; I like the exploration of Damon and his dark soul. I don't know if I would like the sultry scenes though, so I appreciate the warning.

Guess you'll have to read the first book in the series to better enjoy this one. Interesting storyline though. Sounds like an epic adventurous tale. Thanks for the great review.

Great review. I like that you included reader's discretion at the end. This book sounds like there are so many elements to it! I like how you said that the concept of evil and good aren't simple and that this book goes deeper than that. It sounds very interesting and intriguing.

The book beautifully narrates Radon's fight with demons. The author description of seven seals adds mystery to the book. It's a very good review.

from the review, this book seems to be a great read. i like stories with battles between good and evil, they fuel my imagination makes me wonder what lies beyond the unseen. Damon's character is also an intrigue to wonder about as a few people could really inspire emotions of love, hatred and admiration at the same time demanding respect and royalty to the character

This sounds really interesting. I guess the only downside for me is that I also have to read the first book to understand this one. Great review!
