sounds similar to a movie i once watched with arnold schwarzenegger as an angel sent down to earth to save the chosen one as the seals had been broken and each broken seal bring the earth closer to the armageddon. this book would be an interesting read. but knowing the bible first would be a plus plus i get freaked out by such topics.

Yes, this is very complicated. Thought-provoking within a context of fantasy/sci-fi, but complicated! I did enjoy the read, even if I philosophically disagreed with some of the outcomes.

They say don't judge a book for its cover, but I can't get over how "cheap" the cover looks like.

Knowledge of the Bible aids in understanding the significance of the seals, but I would say the conclusion takes a huge amount of liberty with Scripture!!

Very complicated plot. Even your review has also become complicated while describing the novel. Great that you enjoyed it.
What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

I just finished reviewing this book as well. I had similar views, it was amazingly well written, but just too erratic to warrant 4 stars. Which is a shame because I really enjoyed it. I just bought the next in the series and have high hopes

Thank you for explaining in such detail what makes this a challenging read. I am intrigued. This is going on my TBR list!

I am intrigued by this well written review and excited to read the book for myself. The subject matter is familiar, relating to many of my recent research topics. I look forward to seeing how the author puts together this pseudo history of humanity. It could very well give substance to some of my own radical theories.
