Thank you for the honest and in-depth review. After reading the sample, I don't think I'd be able to finish the book not only because of the complexity, but because I'm really not into fantasy and with how difficult it seems to be to grasp, I don't think I'd have the patience for it. It sounds wonderful for those who like to get lost in other worlds, though!

What a nice review. Honestly, I just heard that book title today and its seem hard to follow entire story without thinking. 3 out of 4 stars which mean its not a bad novel and maybe I will take a look some pages of them. Thank you for sharing.

From what I read it was confusing so your review was very helpful. It helped to see that although it might be a great book for those that like to think as they read, for those that don't this is not for them. I am one of those. Thanks for the heads up too on the fact that there were scenes that were sultry. It helped to veto that book from my kids.

This book is quite complex, thus I didn't understood most of it at first. However, the plot is nice, thus it's still quite a nice story! :)

I'm with some of the others. If it was hard to grasp for the first third of the book, I would probably just give up reading it. I like to get lost in a novel, but I don't like being lost as in that I don't know what's going on. I want an escape. I don't think this is up my alley.

This book is not what I would usually read. Its a little too complex, but the plot is interesting enough, thus it is a nice book! :)

Thank you for the great review. Maybe I would feel the same when I read the book. I hardly read sci-fi fantasies. Congratulations to the author for BOTD.

I feel like there's sometimes such a fine line between keeping the reader guessing and just confusing them completely! It sounds like this book might fall to the latter. Though if the plot is as good as you say, it might be worth battling through the confusion.
