I want to read the whole book of The Diary Of An Immortal (1945-1959) because I find interesting the post world war years. History intrigues me a lot, so I can hardly wait to read this.

The review captures the gist of the story. It actually encourages me to read the book.Especially that the story talks about immortality. Sometimes, reading fiction helps us escape from the pressures of mortality even for just a few minutes only.

This is a great review! Even though I don't like either books about history or religion, I still feel intrigued about the plot. Great job!

Thank you for the thorough review. The concept of good vs. evil rages on like time, and this sounds like a new twist on a familiar conflict. The realism of a past war mixed with the religious fantasy would definitely conjure up many questions. You've mentioned aspects of the book that might cause me to balk, but I've added it to my list. If I don't like it, there are other books to read! Thanks for your perspective and congrats to the author on BOTD.

The Diary of An Immortal by MarisaRose caught my attention immediately. Although there were graphic descriptions of the WWII horrors, what was described was what was found and as horrible as it was, we need to remember what mankind is capable of, like the twin towers, we must not forget. The added interest of immortality is a great hook for any reader who enjoys science fiction and/or recent history...both are high on my interest list. Because of other commitments, I was not able to finish the sample, but I do look forward to reading the book soon.

This book sounds very interesting. I agree that the comparisons between Buddhist and American ideas would be interesting.

This seems like such an interesting book with unique plot points. While I have read many books that are from the era, none of those had the mix of Buddhist and American cultures. Great review by the way!

Great review! This sounds like it may be something interesting and different for me to read. I'm not sure I will read it but I love historical fiction books and time travel so it sounds like it may have some aspects that will interest me. I also think that the prolonging life with a pill is interesting. Thanks you.

A really great review, looks like a very deep story and one I would like to read sometime as I love learning about new cultures and how people write about their views on religion and how they portray them differently. Bit risky, but I love that kind of thing!

You know I read the sample pages and would never have been able to guess it had religious connotations to it as well! I am interested in the stories of WW2 era..but have never come across one with this twist! Also, as you said a complex storyline with likeable characters always makes the book alluring. Thanks for the detailed review!
