When immortals try to kill each other, it sure makes an exciting story.

Thanks for the good review. I would like to read the book to know the writer's view on immortality.

I enjoyed the sample and you crowned it with a well written review. The story's historical backdrop is charming, with a convincing ,well thought out and vivid story line.

I can't help but think of the Highlander, in a WWII setting. Great review.

Even from the summary on Amazon, I thought the book would be a nice read. This review confirms it. However I think it is a bad idea to throw in ideas that are highly contradictory to popular faiths and historical facts (for example, the idea that Jesus may not be from this planet that was cited in this review) especially when such ideas are not very relevant to the plot or story. It could discourage some readers who do not wish to accept such ideas or even merely consider the idea just for fun. For a perfect rating, it must be a good book.

I sure could do with a well written fantasy novel such as this one. The review made a good job of it,and I hope it lives up to expectations.

Who wants to live forever? I love the sound of the various settings visited by the protagonist.

The book sounds like a must read for me based on the thematic subjects of religion and culture from across the divides. An opportunity to learn a thing or two since am not that familiar with this ancient religion called Buddhism.

Interesting... Chinese culture, Buddhism, immortality and all those mind-catching themes. I already like the book. I was not even aware there exists something like immortality pills. Thanks for your review. Nice one??

It must be frustrating to never die, moving from one generation to the next without being able to undo the evil that brings on worldwide suffering. The review is expressive and well crafted. Welldone.

The question of immortality has teased the minds of the intelligentsia in all the cultures from time immemorial.

The novel written by David Castillo is exciting, and may even provide a renewed hope, even though it is classified as a fantasy

I wish to add that some philosophies, apart from Buddhism, think that immortality for human beings is contrary to the purpose of our existence on Earth.; so it can be called a wild goose chase.

I thank the author and the reviewer who has brought the book to my attention,
