Congrats on BOTD. Looks like this book is not only about Steven's immortality but it also incorporates Asian cultures like Buddhism. This is actually quite rare, since western books tend to focus on Jesus instead.

The concept of mortality sounds very interesting. And the author seemed to have used religious values greatly. But the book is not my cup of tea. Congrats on BOTD!!

Wow!! Such a great and very informative review. I had read a few of the sample pages and your review had helped me to understand the book so much better. Thank you.

I see immortality as a curse instead of a blessing, and I think the protagonist would agree with me. Congrats on BOTD!

The plot seems interesting but I'll pass as it isn't my genre of interest. Thanks.

I love reading about history! It will be fascinating to read the events portrayed in this book and how Steven experienced them. His internal struggles make him a compelling character to follow. Congrats on the BOTD selection!

Having read the free sample of this book I was drawn straight in.
Your review has really assisted with whether I'd like to continue reading, and I very likely will but do have some reservations as to how I may feel overall.
I will definitely be recommending this book to my Father who is a big historical fantasy genre fan.

Buddhism, war, meaning of life, immortality and culture differences are the key words that come to mind after reading this review. This sounds to be a truly fascinating book.

This seems like a very interesting book, I haven't read any of it soort yet but the author uses religion and world war 2 acts very well.
