Sounds like a few really interesting concepts make up this trilogy! It's too bad about the gaping plot hole... that can really ruin a series. The plot still seems unique, the mix of mythology and gaming seems very different than anything I've ever read before.

Great review. I love a good Sci-fi/fantasy read and have always enjoyed mythology. I was hesitant to try these books out though because I'm not really a gamer. Your review helped me decide to give it a try despite the writing errors, which are a huge sore spot for me, but since you said gamers and non-gamers alike can get into these books, I'm hoping that I will really enjoy them.
