I'm currently reading Beverly Jenness' From Earth to Terra: A New Beginning and I agree with the reviewer hsimone that the book needs to be proofread more. That aside, it has a great premise and one which readers of all ages would definitely be curious about. Two groups of human beings escape in spaceships to the planet Terra to build a new civilization on that pristine planet not yet overrun by global warming and presto!, human beings being human, they immediately have conflicts over equality, work loads, discrimination (i.e. against Tubers or lab humans) and social hierarchy. This is a thought-provoking book about human survival, the building not only of a society but an attempt to establish a world of equals, and the conflicts that naturally infest such a grand creation project. I'm in the thick of reading the book and more than "enjoyable," the story is timely and relevant to this era.
