Whew, where do I start? First off this book is nothing like I expected it to be! Definitely a 10/10, I couldn't stop talking about it (even got my mom interested in reading it - she never reads anything other than urban fiction so that's a huge deal). At first I did find the first chapter or two to be a bit hard to get through as I'm not really into this genre of books but it sounded interesting so I decided to give it 5 chapters to wow me before giving up on it. So glad I did! The plot twists were truly jaw dropping, I never even saw them coming. I was completely flabbergasted. I won't give anything away but it's definitely not anything you'd expect from this kind of book or from the established plot line. Also the world building is phenomenal, I could picture every character, every place, every scene so crystal clear. Kudos to the author for that. Also the pacing is amazing, really kept me into the book until the very end and now I'm craving the next installment. Amazing book and hope the next book keeps up with this one.
