I enjoyed the review and agree with the fact that YA books tend to put in romance, especially when there's a lot of themes being displayed at the same time. I would enjoy reading this book.

You've written a very nice review. The book sounds truly intriguing. I agree with your assertion that romance is too often shoved into every novel.

Your review speaks of Courtney's feelings of anguish. Based on the sample and by looking at cover page, I can see that this is a good description. I think this one would be too intense for me. Thanks for the review.

From the preview that I read and the review above, this sounds like an interesting book. It is a little scary even, but kept my interest. Great job! I wonder what will happen to her.

Sounds like a great book. This is an interesting premise for this age group. Are there really aliens or is there a mental issue? Great storyline and a great review. Thanks.

Great review LivreAmour! Since seeing and reading Gone Girl, The Girl on the Train, Clear Blue, and Black Swan in the past few years, psychological thrillers have become a favorite genre of mind. And I never put much thought into it, but you're right, YA novels often insert a love story when it's not needed, just to have one.

Your review is quite descriptive, after reading it, The alienation of Courtney has become a must read for me. I've never really considered mental illness from the perspective of the person who is accused or suspected with having one. The added mystery of Courtney trying to figure out whats going on sounds like a page turner! Im highly interested, especially as you've rated the book 4 out of 4 stars. Thanks for the great review!
