I sometimes like fantasy novels but this one sounds a bit too much for me. I also do not like stories about vampires. Sounds like it is pretty well written though so I am excited for those reading it!

I do usually enjoy epic, fantasy genres but haven't got on with vampire stories in the past. Willing to give this one a try though as the review has been so positive!

I have not had a chance to read this book yet, but I have just downloaded it. It sounds like an amazing story. I am excited to read it. I am unsure about the journal type writing because I generally do not care for that type of book, but I think it will be an interesting read. Thanks for your review!

A tale about vampires, magic, and religion. From the review, the novel seems like it's full of action, but I don't enjoy reading books featuring vampires. Thanks for the review.

I have been considering reading this book for some time now. Your review has convinced me to add it to my list of must reads. I enjoy a good vampire story but this one seems really unique.
Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.

Thank you for this great review! I had already read much of the Amazon Sample, and very much enjoyed it. And then I read your review and what you had to say about the vampires of this world has me feeling very excited to read this book! I love how different authors pretty much always portray vampires in different ways. :-)

Thank you again for your review!

Usually books told as journal entries aren't my thing and I struggle with them, but the plot seems to be right up my alley and you spoke so highly of this book that I just have to add it to my to-read list. Gotta leave my comfort zone every now and again, right?

I just downloaded it and I'm super excited to read it because of the review. I think I'm just going to read this one for fun because I miss that and haven't done it in a while lol.

Thank you for clarifying how vampires are used in the book. I'm not a fan of vampires as sex symbol, ala Twilight. It sounds like this is a more nuanced take on the genre and might be worth investigating. It sounds like the characters are strongly defined and inhabit a realistic fantasy world. The mark of successful fantasy is how well the author develops a believable world with enough detail to present a word picture to hold on to.

Interesting review with spoiler alerts! But, upon another sci-fi fantasy, I'm spiritual worn out with good versus evil: vampires, the living and the dead (demonic forces)! And, although, "Nightlord: Sunset" appears to conclude with a victorious conclusion, I just could read on pass, "Wednesday, June 15th" (too long) and rate it 3/4 stars. But Best wishes to the author on the #BOTD

I enjoyed the sample of this book, but don't usually have any interest in vampire books. Thanks for the review!

I'm not a fan of vampires so at first I didn't think this was going to be one for me. However, after reading your review, I'm more interested; I'll give it a try. The new take on vampires caught my attention :D

Wow, you really made me want to read it. The sample was well-written and enjoyable and it sounds like the plot really picks up too. Thanks for your review.

Not usually a fan of vampire stories, but I think I will check this one out. It’s not very often I find a book written with perfectly developed characters. Maybe Eric will be my Everyman! Awesome review that sold me on this book.
