I have a strong aversion for books about vampires, but this review sketches a very intriguing picture of the story line. I might just read it! Good review.

I appreciate the character development in this book. I also liked how rich the story telling is, which elevated the reading experience to a whole new level.

Great review!

This review was outstanding thank you very much. I am excited to read this one. The report that every character encountered existed for a reason and felt authentic to the story means a lot to me, If I don't identify with the character I don't enjoy the story. I can't imagine what it would be like to wake up with a stranger and find I'd been turned into a vampire.

The idea of vampires sound horror to me and I might be scared to read the story but the review is great.

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review. I am intrigued by the adventures of Eric, and this new take on a very old theme (vampires) sounds interesting (I'll admit, I'm a little done with this genre in some ways). Your review made the book sound exciting and interesting. I look forward to exploring further

What an incredible articulate review! Your enthusiasm for this story has rubbed off on me and I'm about to start reading it. It's interesting to hear about the alternative take on Vampires, I think it's this that intrigues me the most. Thank you for sharing your honest experience of this novel.

This is a very intriguing and thought provoking review. I like the interesting twist on vampires and the new world. The church aspect sounds genuine and well thought out. Even the diary/journal entry style sounds interesting.

The mix of fantasy and reality sound interesting. I sometimes find that an entire new world where everything has to be explained can get a bit trying.

I'll definitely read this. I love excellent world building and secondary characters that don't just feel like scenery. The humor doesn't hurt either.
