This review is really very good and if i was a younger reader, the "Narnia" feel of the book would surely be a great enticement to get stuck in.

I'm interested in reading this book! It's nice to hear that although the shift in POV was a little confusing, it doesn't detract from one's reading experience! Thanks for the review!

Ok you had me at the first sentence "Magic, dragons, pyromaniacs, bandits, and an ice queen are but a few of the dangers Johnny Ellis faces in Kayla Swanson’s Legend of the Burning Lake." Love all of these and have downloaded the book. When reading the book I will keep in mind the potential of confusion when jumping between characters. Great review and I look forward to reading the book

Thanks for your review. This sounds like an interesting coming of age/mystery/fantasy novel.

A fascinating start to Legend of The Burning Lake with action, a mysterious past (the reader assumes), interesting and believable characters, and a powerful purpose indicated for each of the characters. It sounds like a great read! I would be intrigued to see how this book stands up against some of the classics in this genre such as Eragon.

I really enjoyed reading the sample, but I did find the book a touch confusing at times.

Legend of the burning lake may be an interesting book, but the sample didn't catch my full attention. I like to read the book just to understand what is the story inside. The pages I have read didn't give a big panorama. I think there is mystery, magic and trouble around.

Looks like another book about dragons and magic but the pov jumps seem interesting to read. Thanks for the detailed review.

Thank you for the great review kio on The Legend of the Burning Lake. A book on magic, dragons, pyromaniacs, bandits, and an ice queen sounds intriguing. Thanks Kayla.

Jonny who is the main character tries to dig back into the past which does not rest well with the community leaders who want the past to remain in the past. The book is a science fiction book with a lot of promise i hope you notice the promise the book has to it's readers and the audience at large

"Legend of the Burning Lake" sounds like a fantasy and drama filled read. I think that from the review and the sample that I read, many will enjoy reading this book. I don't think this one is for me, though. Thanks for the nice review! :D

This book sounds interesting and the plot sounds exciting. Flawed characters can actually help the story at times. The errors you mentioned sound like they can be easily overlooked. Great job on this and thank you for sharing.

I enjoy fantasy and this book sounds really interesting. I especially like the mysterious light in the water. That's a neat idea.

Nice review of “Legend of the Burning Lake.” The blend of characters with their vivid imagery and descriptions, and the main character’s delving into a hidden past, struck me as two of the strong points of this book that would make it an interesting one to read.
