This is a good point, and very possible. Often books make it very clear that a character is gradually growing, and maybe it's become such habit that it be that clear that it seems fake when it's not blatant. We don't want our hand held, but when it isn't, it doesn't seem natural. Curse our habits!Ramona wrote:Interesting review! I agree that inconsistencies in a book are definitely confusing. i personally would not book, because steam punk and fantasy should not be together in a novel. this book was made for the younger generation so it will sell very well with them.
