Review of The Elf Accord - Book Four of the Magi Charter
The Elf Accord Book Four of the Magi Charter is a historical fiction story by Jordan David that talks about Santa, elves, and North Pole.
This was different from the other books; it shows little about Christmas and North Pole. I have predicted what could happen, but I was wrong. I thought that it would be a continuation of the last book and expected some happy elves in the North Pole since Mistletoe changed into a good person but I was wrong, the turn of this book caught me off guard, this felt like another book.
The book shows a journey of a Santa named Leopold who has taken over Santa Johann. Lady Serapha tells Leopold that they have to move far north and find another place but Santa Leopold is dragging his feet about moving from the North Pole since there is a lot of work that has to be done. Serapha tells Santa that it is not safe to stay in the mountains because Lord Babenberg is planning an attack. Even if he was reluctant at first, he agrees and moves to find a new place to work on.
I felt like this was supposed to be the first book, it is the first time we are told about Santa Leopold. It is more like a historical story than the other books and it tells us how the North Pole started.
I liked everything about the book, and I can relate to the journey of Santa Leopold. You meet different people; they are some that are temporary, and some are permanent. No matter what life throws at you, we have to battle with it and move on. I have learned a lot from the book.
I wish the book had page numbers since we are asked to write the errors detected, it will come in handy.
I did not find any grammatical errors; it shows that professionals edited the book. I rate The Elf Accord4 out of 4 stars for all the reasons that I have mentioned above.
I recommend this book to anyone that likes to know about the history of Santa, it is a friendly book. Even though this is the fourth book, it can be read as a standalone, it does not require any information from the previous books. The book contains minor vulgar language and no erotic scenes it is suitable for all ages. The book does not affect anyone’s religion.
