Review of Temptation Trials Part II
Lust, one of the seven deadly sins, is being spread into the public by a blue mist in the air and a reality television show called the Temptation Trials. The nation has a strict law of arranged marriages for everyone. Cali and Stefani participated in the show. Each participant was given a temptation partner to test his/her love with his/her real partner. It is time for them to choose either the temptation partner or the real partner for marriage. Cali must choose either Zion or Cade. Stefani must choose either Tobaius or Dominique. They should fight lust and make good decisions for their lives. Their decisions must change when the truth about the show and Eminence, the world's dictator, unveils.
This novel is the second book to Temptation Trials Part I. It is highly recommended that one should first read the first novel before reading this one. It contains a romance storyline built in a dystopian world. Temptation Trials Part ll by B.Truly answers all the questions left unanswered in book one. It is full of chaos and violence.
The positive thing that I liked most about the novel is the tension between characters. After the reality show, there is a lot of tension between temptation partners and real partners of the participants. The author's writing nature skillfully rises the tension and I could feel it while I was reading. The action part of the novel is intriguing and well described. It was fun reading the novel because it is fast paced and the author's writing style is good. The overall plot was appealing to me.
The negative thing that I disliked about the novel is that some action parts of the plot occur too easily as expected. There are no twists at all to make it more interesting. The novel is exceptionally well edited. I came across a small number of errors while I was reading. There are some parts with suspense that I enjoyed.
A 4 out of 4 stars rating is suitable for this novel. I have rated it perfectly because of the element of suspense some parts contain. I recommend the novel to all those who read the first book because all the unanswered questions are answered in this one. The two novels are a good read to lovers of romance and dystopian world novels. There is a lot of profanity. There are explicit erotic scenes which makes the story not good for young audiences.
