This sounds quite different from anything I've read before and I am intrigued for sure. Thank you for the recommendation!

Even though it is set in an earlier era, this story seems to fall in the steampunk subgenre. I'm very curious to find out more about the mechanical gadgets and Galileo the cat. I would also be interested to see if Josef and Klara end up being a couple.

Thank you for an amazing review as always, kandscreeley!

You know what? That's exactly what it is. I've been struggling with a way to describe it since the review. Steampunk. I guess I don't read enough of those to remember that. Too bad I didn't think of that when writing the review. I hope you find time to read and enjoy it.

This sounds intriguing. I wonder how the story of Josef and the mysterious woman unravels itself. I also admire the authors writing style. Thanks for recommending.
