The book Awakening by Tayma Tameem is the story of a Royal family in the kingdom of hale with Katja and Amara both princesses sisters to the end. It explores the power given by the spirit Brikir to Amara and her fight to control it. Fast forward to the present time Katja wakes up in an unfamiliar place and without her memories. Following the book she is trying to save the kingdom from the reign of the terrible snow queen.

A positive aspect of the book was that it was very easy to relate to the characters and their emotions . Like when Katja feels tired and when she feels like an outcast. Another aspect is that it describes the settings very well like the ile of Banj so it makes you feel like your inside the story living what Amara is living.

A negative aspect of the book is that some parts did not feel necessary to the book like when Marius helps Katja defeat the bandits. Some parts of the book feel rehearsed and practiced.

The reason I gave it a 4 out of 4 because it’s very immersive it’s magical action packed and has a beautiful love story. I found it was very professionally edited.
