(Human) Life is already so different to how it used to be just a few decades ago, so who knows? I'm also fascinated by post-apocalyptic survival stories.

Thank you for an excellent review.

Post-apocalyptic novels are among my favorites as well. Many of them bear grim warnings of what our world could become if we're not careful. Not to mention that they're fascinating to read! Thanks for dropping by and commenting!

I have always considered it a great books in which authors manage to create whole new worlds. Thanks for the reading recommendation.

This book sounds very interesting and scary at the same time. Somehow fierce... I usually love detailed descriptions of new worlds and the characters sound special, too. But the post-apocalyptic side of this book scares me. As you can see, I don’t know what to think 😂

Regardless, your review was wonderful. I enjoyed reading it!

Fierce...that's a good word for Harley as well as the world itself. It's definitely a dog-eat-dog existence in the Wilderness. It can be a bit scary to consider books that contain a very viable future based on where we're going and what we're doing in our own world. They don't exactly scare me, but they do make me think. This is an interesting take on a post-apocalyptic scenario with unique characters like Vale.
I am particularly interested in non-living things or Artificial Intelligence beings going sentient that we can't distinguish their way of thinking from human rationale.
Thanks for your well-described review.

The Vale and the Earth herself going sentient were, indeed, unique twists on the post-apocalyptic theme. Thanks for dropping in and commenting!

Here’s hoping Brinna returns in a sequel. I am not a fan of post-apocalyptic novels, but I truly enjoyed your marvelous review!

Thank you for the lovely compliment! I do hope that Brinna returns in a sequel. It would be a shame to waste her character like this. Thanks for dropping in and commenting!

All beasts of the earth turning against humankind, killing indiscriminately without provocation when humankind had reached the peak of destruction of the earth looks like an amazing fiction story book. I am looking forward to read this book soon. Thanks for your insightful review.
