I really like your summary and analysis of this book. Akara sounds like a very simple yet interesting place. I would love to see what happens to the inhabitants and if they make it or get exterminated.

Thank you for an excellent review.

Unfortunately for its inhabitants, Akara becomes interesting after the alien object arrives. Thank you for your appreciation!

I'm not a fan of science-fiction, so I'll pass on this book. Great review, though!

Initially, this sounded like the movie "Waterworld," but then the plot diverged drastically. I'm always up for a good sci-fi novel, however. I'll give this one some thought! Thanks for the interesting review!

You can see very quickly that the setting and plot are very different from Waterworld. Thank you for your appreciation!

This sounds like an intriguing book. I really hate it when you can't give the full four stars because of errors. Hopefully, the author will get those fixed, so it can get the rating it deserves. I appreciate your well-written review!

Considering that this is the first book of a series, the first impression is even more important. Thank you for your appreciation!

This sounds like a fantastic piece of sci-fi. You mention a big event ends the book and ensures the series continues. Does that mean this book doesn’t have a clear ending?

I can confirm that the ending is very open, far from clear, so if you read this book, you have to go on with its sequels to know how the story ends. Judging from this beginning, it's worth it. Thank you for commenting!

This seems really interesting, especially since I can see humans being Akaras. Thank you for the great review!

It's easy to understand the characters' motives and emotions, exactly because in the end, they're all humans. Thank you for your appreciation!

Oh, yes, subplots slowly revealing secrets are my favorite :) Also, the universe created by the author seems to be truly unique! Thank you very much for this thrilling review!
