Unfortunately for its inhabitants, Akara becomes interesting after the alien object arrives. Thank you for your appreciation!Josephe-Anne wrote: ↑16 May 2021, 15:18 I really like your summary and analysis of this book. Akara sounds like a very simple yet interesting place. I would love to see what happens to the inhabitants and if they make it or get exterminated.
Thank you for an excellent review.

You can see very quickly that the setting and plot are very different from Waterworld. Thank you for your appreciation!

Considering that this is the first book of a series, the first impression is even more important. Thank you for your appreciation!

I can confirm that the ending is very open, far from clear, so if you read this book, you have to go on with its sequels to know how the story ends. Judging from this beginning, it's worth it. Thank you for commenting!

It's easy to understand the characters' motives and emotions, exactly because in the end, they're all humans. Thank you for your appreciation!
