This is a book with a good rating. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.. The book is called We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz. The author has made the book difficult to begin which is normal, and this book is a premier novel that appeals to adult readers. I rate this book four stars because of Galen, the main character of the book.

The book starts of with Galen and it later introduces one of the Lords. It does not stop there because more Lords are written about. The book describes a character who lives in city with rich resources to contain a city with the potential to become a nation. Vidius promotes the pheasant feathers and these feathers, along with the army that wears them, invades islands and brings about a lot of fear to those who are against Vidius; he controls a rich city.

The themes of this book begins with a young character who leaves a ship to eventually begin reading a guide that his uncle provides for him. The Lords and Galen, the young character, follows guides and eventually, a king is spoken about. The Lords don't follow guides and in this premier book, Galen only briefly reads the book because him and his uncle's executer have a rare material.

I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy a strong introduction, mages who are able to fly, and people who are able to flash behind others. The tone of this book is clear and the ships that are described in this book are descriptive. Galen travels with companions and they eat a well made meal.

The reason this book is good is because of Galen. There is also Wilheim, the Lord who is wise as well. There is a king in the book. The king is written about and it displays a style that is expected in future books. The war which lasts a long time, twenty years, is the setting in which Galen has to leave on a ship to arrive at a new area to survive. The ships are on the surface of blue water with clear skies and these ships, where mages are able to stay on is what creates a relaxing environment for many of the characters in this book because it can be comparable to this scene. The only way to learn about the style which the author writes about is to see all the characters and to complete the book with a similar style which is displayed in the middle of the book.
