Imagine coming dangerously close to an apocalyptic event only to be saved at the last minute. Containment Breach by Wm. A. Yandell is a book that explores such a possibility and the probable outcome thereafter. The planet is facing a threat so great that it puts the entire human race in jeopardy. All these occur after a scientist creates a new species of strange creatures in space. Though initially believed to be calm and harmless, something happens that turns the creatures violent and aggressive. They are able to adapt and overcome every challenge/attempt to stop them.

After escaping on a spaceship to earth, an order is issued to eliminate each and every one of them. As a result, a team of scientists is called upon to come up with a way to destroy the creatures. However, coming up with a safe and effective way to kill these creatures proves to be difficult. In the end, only one man is left to try and salvage the whole situation. It is a feat that seems impossible to accomplish but he is determined to do it. Only time will tell.

The story is intriguing. It immediately captures the interest/attention of the reader from the start to finish. It shows how a single person’s greed for power almost leads to the annihilation of the human race as we know it. However, it also shows the willingness of people to sacrifice their lives for the sake of others, especially when the stakes are this high. As a result of a single person’s action, humanity is forced to pay a hefty price.

The author uses different styles and techniques to make the story more interesting and appealing to the reader. He uses both first and third-person narration in order to help the reader see the unfolding of events from different perspectives. Besides, this also helps the reader to understand and connect with each character uniquely. Furthermore, the plot of the story is amazing and has numerous twists and turns. Overall, I didn’t encounter spelling or grammatical errors. The book is professionally edited and is well presented. Based on the above, I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars.

In conclusion, this book would be most suitable for people interested in science fiction, especially those that deal with space travel and futuristic technology. It shows both the positive and negative effects of technological advancements on humanity. It is a great book to read.
